The Kitchen - Wichita East

The Kitchen is a happy small restaurant that was serving a special dish for St Patricks Day, of which the wife loved, while I had a perfectly cooked Brie amd Bacon Burger. We will be going back for sure.

I ordered the chicken pesto wich which was delicious! Grilled chicken breast, basil pesto, melted mozzarella, tomatoes and lettuce drizzled with house Italian served with fries. This sandwich was so fresh and I loved the house Italian. My friend ordered the chicken parm sandwich. Crispy fried chicken breast, marinara sauce, mozzarella on a fresh brioche bun.

Not a very big menu, I didn't really care for the selection so spent a lot for food I didn't really enjoy.

Totally delicious dinner! First time here, first item on the menu. Hamburger. WOW! Had the spinach and artichoke chips and dip as a teaser. I can't wait to return for my next meal!

We enjoy dining at local places and decided to try The Kitchen. We ordered our drinks and an appetizer and later ordered our meal and added dessert. My sangria was delivered in a glass covered in lipstick from a previous customer. I decided to just drink water. Our caprese appetizer was good. We both ordered burgers, and mine was a piece of charcoal. We finished our drinks (water and tea) half way through the meal and never got refills.
