The Anchor - Wichita East

Anchor has been one of our go-to places for many years. However, in recent years it's been neglected a bit…the bathrooms are constantly out of order and dirty… and many of the draft beers on their menu tend to run out, or even sometimes come out room temperature and/or flat. Sometimes the service can be a little iffy… but, I will say that the food has always been great though and hasn't experienced any reduction in quality. This is NOT THE Anchor Bar from Buffalo, NY. It's just some place that comes up when you look it up. How disappointing.

You can always count on good service and excellent food here. Great atmosphere as well.

Everything on their menu is yummy!! Staff is awesome!! BUT I wish you all would bring back the jalapeno beer caps. Love this place and definitely recommend it to anyone!!

Walked in a few minutes after 10 pm (open til 11) for a beer. The hostess mentions the kitchen is closed, but can sit at the bar for drinks, which is all we came for. We pull the bar chairs out, and the bartender abruptly starts shaking her head at us, followed with “we’re done serving all the things…” rudely.
