The Farmer's Daughter Country Store

Food is good. A few of the employees were arguing/frustrated with each other behind the counter, kind of strange. One woman kept literally making a growling noise because someone put an order in wrong.

Nice store with several areas. Great place to get souvenirs. Prices are on the high side. The merchandise seems to be of good quality.

Great little stopping place. Delicious food for a great price. I got some bread and cookies to go, they were so good!

It was busy the day we went weekday at 2pm. Food is made to order. Relaxed service. Outside is dog friendly.

My family and I decided to go for supper. We arrived and ordered a few minutes before 6. There was 2 people sitting at a table when we arrived and 5 people behind us in the lineup. After ordering 4 meals offered on the menu we were told it would be 20 minutes. They gave us a table card so we sat down. After 30 minutes I went to the counter and asked if it would be much longer, I was told a few more minutes. The kids were restless so we decided we would sit outside on the deck. 15 minutes later the kids meals came cold chicken strips and fries. Our meals weren't ready yet so the waiter said it would be a few more minutes. 10 more minutes and our meals arrived cold again. We had ordered 2 postings and 2 burgers, 1 with bacon. Both burgers had bacon. I advised the waiter that only 1 burger was supposed to have bacon. He took it back angrily. While we sat eating our cold postings and my partner ate his burger I still hadn't gotten my burger. At this point all the kids and my partner were finished eating, the restaurant was locking its doors. We went in and asked for a refund for my burger as we had now been there over an hr. The staff were rude and seemed hesitant to refund for a burger I never got. 2 kids meals chicken strips and fries, 2 burgers and 2 postings, 2 drinks was over $70. Service was awful. And the food, gross as it was cold. I love supporting local but was beyond disappointed here
