Lam Inn Chinese Restaurant

Went to dinner with friends. Great food and quick service. The amounts were quite plentiful. Satays were my favourites.

Went there with hubby to escape the kids but the two other choices we made we both far too busy. This was our first time and remembered it as a long-term Whyalla local is always raving about it. We were not disappointed. The food was fabulous, restaurant quiet (takeaway is extremely busy though), service great and sound value. We will return!

I am from Whyalla. I can cook well so I do not buy from Restaurants as most of the time I get disappointed with the taste. Only exception has been Lam Inn. I must admit the taste of the food over the 7 years has not changed much and still excellent (I may say that it had been better). I cannot say same for Indian Restaurants etc which has changed to adopt as Australian Indian rather than Authentic Indian. If you want it hot you just tell the staff and they do it for you.

Excellent service and fine food. Love their Mongolian dishes, satays, and Szechuan. The service is lovely and the take-a-ways, fast and delicious. This is my go-to store when my son comes to town.
