Rubi's Frostee Freeze - Whittier

Small family business who takes customer service seriously. A clerical error ended up charging my husband's credit card $200 for a $20 purchase. For some reason he never noticed it. The next time we came in, they immediately informed us of the error and made things right. We probably never would have put two and two together, and they would have had a $180 windfall, but that is not the way they operate. They already had my enthusiastic business, but this sealed my admiration of this great family forever.

The burrito I got tasted fresh and good. I haven't had a burrito that tasted that good and fresh in awhile. The Reese freeze that I had had actually chunks of the candy bar blended into it and it also tasted good. The restaurant was clean. The only downside, if I'm being a bit nitpicky, is that the display menu board is a bit outdated. But other then that it's a good place to eat at with a friendly staff, quite service, reasonable prices, and good food.

Best chicken tacos! Potato tacos are good too. I don't know what their salsa is, but I use one for each taco I get. Great flavor. Service has always been kind and prompt. Place is always clean.

This restaurant is my absolute favorite place in Whittier to get flautas, potato tacos, and deluxe nachos (get it with their carnitas! . The same family has owned this business for over 20 years and it's clear that they love what they do. The portions are always generous, so I usually end up needing to take some home with me afterwards and the leftovers always keep really well in the fridge. Needless to say, with all of the delicious food options and their fair pricing on everything, I've asked this restaurant to do the catering for six or seven parties over the years and I've never been disappointed! Our guests always want to know where the food is from, so I highly recommend them to everyone I know!
