This place blew me away honestly the food was really good ! Like top 3 sushi spots in whittier and the service was really good and friendly. Highly recommend. Just make sure you call to reserve your table during the covid era

I picked up a order to go that consisted of the Mexico roll USA roll and Y2K roll and I was completely satisfied! The sashimi on top of the USA rolls was fresh they did not taste old the Mexico city roll was good the only thing I would change is putting Sriracha chili instead of tapatío and the Y2k roll was great! Let me tell you my wife is a picky BIZZ when it comes to food she don't like sushi and for the first time she loved this Y2K roll so they must be doing something right. Also the owner was very nice and sweet that's a big plus!

My husband and I eat here about 2-3 times a month, and from what I've seen the other patrons are equally as loyal. The owners John and Jenny are so lovely and welcoming, and the sushi is legit delicious. Try the USA roll if you like sashimi and want some variety.

We are from out of town and saw the reviews on this place and are SO GLAD we tried it! We have a 2 year old and the lady helping us treated him like her own. They were so friendly and treated our boy like family! The food was so fresh and even the yakisoba noodles were to die for! We will definitely come back when we visit again. Such a good experience!

I came across Grill n Sushi while going the was a half decent sushi spot that want too far from home. The first thing I will say is that the service is quick and extremely kind. I can't imagine a friendlier atmosphere. We've now gone a couple times, and so far we've tried the tempura roll, California roll, Philadelphia roll, spider crab roll, and shrimp crunch roll. Nothing extravagant to our order, but the presentation was nice, the rolls were put together well, and to me it's just as much about being able to get the simple things right. Most importantly, the ingredients taste fresh, the flavors all work well as they construct the rolls, and overall they come across light and refreshing. We will be making regular trips back! Also, we've only picked up food to go, but while I've been inside waiting, the atmosphere send very comfortable and inviting... for the family, or a nice quiet dinner for two.
