The space is petite, beautiful, and absolutely perfect! I use the word "petite" for several reasons: it’s cozy and creates a delightful atmosphere, just what you’d expect from an excellent tea and cake shop. The cutlery was charmingly mismatched—ideal for a lovely afternoon tea experience. The cakes that arrived on the stand were delightful and flavorful, featuring every imaginable taste: lemon, blueberry, vanilla, and of course, chocolate. Each bite offered a different sensation. I had a hard time picking a favorite—honestly, they were all delicious! The selection of sandwiches was equally impressive, catering to even the fussiest of eaters without making anyone feel uncomfortable. Thank you for that! I’m a bread maker myself, and I must say, their rolls were mouthwatering—I savored every bite; they might have been my favorites. The waitress was a breath of fresh air: cheerful, helpful, and it was nice to see people who genuinely enjoy their work. This place is a hidden gem; were it not for a recommendation, I might have missed out on such a wonderful experience. The cupcakes for sale also looked incredibly tempting. I can only say thank you for the delightful visit!

We booked a cream tea for the whole family — 4 adults and 4 children — to celebrate my son's birthday on April 23rd. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was amazing. There were 2 vegetarians in our group, and the selection of sandwiches and other options was excellent. We would definitely visit this diner again. The attention to detail was impressive, and they even sent us home with takeaway containers for the cake we couldn't finish. The portions were huge. Overall, it was a great day out!

We had an absolutely incredible afternoon—truly the best ever! Every dish we tried was perfection. Sonja and EJ provided exceptional service, being both friendly and attentive throughout our visit. My son and daughter-in-law, Niall and Sarah, brought their new dog, Viola, who was also warmly welcomed and treated to some delicious snacks! Thank you for a wonderful afternoon filled with Prosecco. I’ll definitely be back!

What a wonderful place. afternoon was amazing, there was nothing there that was not on standard. the lady who served us with the green retro glasses (sorry, I don't know their names) gave us exactly the right amount of attention. 10/10 will be definitiw back thank you.

Sonja Jo are our go-to cake makers. They always knock it out of the park. We first used Whitstable Cake Company for our rustic style wedding cake. Each tier was a different flavour and a lot of our guests commented about it being the best wedding cake they had ever eaten. We now use them regularly for birthdays and other special occasions. They last made a baby shark cake for my daughter's birthday which also went down a storm. Keep up the great work!
