The Cannon Inn - Whitley Bay

I ordered the red Thai curry, and when it arrived, it was more like a bowl of soup, it was so watery. How am I supposed to eat soup with a knife and fork? We were asked how our meal was when we finished. We paid the bill at the end, not during our meal.

I went to dinner with my partner, and the staff was very friendly. The portions were large and worth every penny. I have already been twice and will definitely visit again soon!

The first time I tried Cannon Inn was on the recommendation of Google. The staff were attentive, with quick reaction times, and even checked to see if we were comfortable. The food was delicious - a proper home-cooked meal with the best chips I've had in a while. I will definitely be returning. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and were seated within an hour for a quick meal. Overall, it was a great option for those looking for non-alcoholic drinks or water. The restaurant wasn't too crowded, and the staff seated guests with plenty of space between tables. I highly recommend it.

Fabulous fresh food at great price. all roasted are gluten-free. they can have large or small portions. fabulous friendly staff x fast service xx super friendly warm atmosphere x

Family of including had Sunday roast , couldn't fault the food and the staff were so accommodating and friendly, it's a lovely little country pub,would recommend this place all day long, give it a go am sure you won't be disappointed
