Penn's Grill - Whiteville

I enjoyed a large cheeseburger (gluten-free) on a gluten-free bungalow. (and gluten-free chili). what a tasty bite! After years of needing to be gluten-free, I miss going to the bungalow with my burger or sandwich while eating. I am delighted that I can have a gluten-free choice when eating even in a small city like whiteville. penn’s grill has my business because they care about their customers (and their needs) and because they have great eating!

I used to be in food service, so I am very helpful, short staff, no personal, new staff. but my order (chile hash dish- applied for no chili no acid cream) was wrong to begin, the woman gave me just hash browns w wobble. I repeated what I had asked. the woman asked me what my order was and tried to correct it / it was thrown together, my one piece cheese was thrown in pieces / not melted. then I was added $9.89 for scrambled and cheddar. I was still accused for the chili and sour eyes. it doesn't matter to pay for good food, but the price is high and very bad customer service - they lost me as a customer. I always tip and I'm super polite. I don't feel like they appreciate my business, so I won't recommend this place, nor will I pay my hard earned money for bad service.

The half of the food we ordered and paid was gone and when I brought them to their attention, the owner argued with me. my burger was dry and tasteless anyway. the grilled cheese was unusable. the fries were soggy and saltless. very, very disappointing. I appreciated the additional cookies they gave us, and the personal seemed nice.

The freshest, most delicious lunch! we stopped here on the way to the beach (after almost stop at an almost food place and noticing reviews mention healthy food). I had the farmacy bowl and my man had to share the grilled chicken club with some chili frits and berries bully, and it was some of the best food I had in a long time. it was tasteful, the sweet was crisp and fresh, and it was healthy, but also so delicious. the personal was friendly and accommodating and the service was quickly evil, so we were back on the road in no time with curb-side delivery. we make it a point to stop here again on the way back!
