Doghead Dough - Whitesburg

Had a super lunch while I was in downtown Whitesburg. Have a small calzone. Guarantee you'll take some back for snack later. Homemade dough. Fresh made food to order. Folks working there were taking care of business. Really great place.

If you are in the area and craving pizza and elect to go anywhere else you are doing your tastebuds an injustice! Such precision in their craft and as someone who usually leaves the crust. My plate did not have any left. The only things they can do to improve in this food lovers eyes is to continue expanding their menu and make a larger pie!

The service was phenomenal and the pizza was the best I've ever had.

I was raised in Northern NJ just outside of NYC and I know pizza Doghead makes good pizza. Hand tossed, good quality cheese and ingredients. Not that common to find decent pizza outside of NY and NJ but they do a good job. Restaurant is an old department store! So, yea, dining in is Twilight Zone experience. Order it to go, you wont be disappointed.

Their crust is home made an honestly it's better than pizza hut or any other.
