Soban - Whitecourt Canada

Great place to eat in whitecourt. There are not a lot of places in town that can attribute fresh to their menu.. because most of the places to eat are fast food franchises. The people are nice and they are happy to feed you. I didn't give full ratings because it's hard to get fresh fish in North central Alberta .. it's still well made sushi!

The Korean food at this restaurant is outstanding! The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Their new location suits the restaurant much better, with beautiful decor and clean, modern washrooms. This is definitely one of the top choices for ethnic cuisine in Whitecourt.

This restaurant in Whitecourt truly offers the best food. Their wonton soup is excellent, much better than the wonton soup at My Little Saigon. I have tried everything on the menu and have not been disappointed. I especially recommend the "Cup-bob," which is sushi in a bowl instead of individual wraps. This restaurant is a gem in Whitecourt and we are lucky to have it in our town.

Anyone up for Bulgogi? I highly recommend trying out this unique restaurant. Initially, I had to wait a bit to get some attention when I first visited, but once I figured out how to call the server by pushing a button on the table, the service has been top-notch. The food is delicious, and I enjoyed learning about the history behind the dishes before being tempted to try the Bulgogi, which has now become a favorite of mine. I've tried everything on the menu, including the Bulgogi Bibimbap countless times, even though I don't live in Whitecourt. The dishes are always beautifully presented, healthy, and fresh. I will definitely be returning. See you soon!
