Contribuiți la feedbackJust had the Chicken Burritos, Guacamole, Pico de Gallo from Barrique's Ty-Guy's Tex Mex Cantina take out and they were the BEST chicken burritos we have ever tasted!! Delicious citrus marinated chicken wrapped with rice, beans and guacamole inside a fresh and tasty tortilla!!! Awesome! Oh, and not to forget the churros for dessert...MMMMMM! Thanks for another wonderfulfood adventure Barrique!!
My wife and I recently moved into the neighbour hood and thought we'd order burgers for takeout. Overall we were satisfied with our meals but wish the burger meat had more seasoning. We look forward to giving Barrique another go in the near future. N.
We found Barrique today and can't say how much we liked it. Finally a burger that was a true burger. The croque madame was fantastic. With two vegetarians Chef Josiah suggested swap the ham for mushrooms, not one type but several made to the plate, nearly made me want to give the burger. Lets not talk about the dessert all good but the creme burlee (a true test of a great chef) was fantastic Service was quick professional but very friendly. We will definitely be back soon!
Tonight my sister and I met for dinner at this new French restaurant in White Rock! I have wanted to try it out since they opened! The space is cozy and intimate...not a huge amount of tables...which I like...so call in for a reservation because it was a full house and you are going to want to try the food offered here at Barrique's! The menu is filled with creative food pairings and Classic French Cuisine! There were many things that we wanted to try, we ended up ordering a few small plates to share! The best combination of ingredients that I tried tonight were from the Carrots! Roasted carrots served with pickled grapes...yep pickled grapes and pistachios on a cracked pepper yogurt and brown butter...wow these were so good! The contrast of the textures and flavours was amazing and it was all perfectly balanced. The Olive Oil Cake was another example of great flavour combinations! A simple moist, dense cake served with orange curds, raspberry sorbet, pistachios and roasted grapes! Great job developing the great ambience, creative menu and flavour combinations!
A good restaurant at a lovely location. The decor is contemporary casual, food French-inspired. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food was good, albeit somewhat slow coming out. We did the Chef's surprise (tasting) and were satisfied with everything; although salad felt like a basic type of dish for a French restaurant/compared to the other courses.
