Songkran Thai - White Rock Peak

I have eaten at this restaurant several times and have always been impressed with the quality of the food right in the suburbs! The service is very good and the food even better! Good portion size and at a reasonable price...

I had almost given up trying Thai food in Cairns, none of them hit the mark. Well I found Songkran it is the best by far. Superb fresh food to die for. It is now our 'go to' for a night off cooking. I am so pleased it is on our side of town.

I love Thai food and i come from Melbourne and this is the best i have tasted, we to dine in every now and then but mainly takeout on way home from work, the first visit there i ordered an entree and could not eat another thing and it only cost me $10 for it, great portions at a great price when we eat in we normally bring our leftovers home for lunch next and when we do takeout it's the same great value for money. Peter and his wife and the staff are awesome

Love this place.Small, intimate, friendly with beautiful authentic Thai.Huge serves - so unless you're a big eater share the entree or you'll be taking home tomorrow's lunch.Cold rolls are delicious, the entree serve is 3 large.Tamarind prawns

These guys absolutely rock. There curries are spectacular. If you ask for Tai hot or crazy tai hot .. make sure you really mean it .. I had the crazy tai hot green curry and it was possibly the best curry I have ever had .. but I woke up at 1am In a sweat haha. These guys really know thier stuff. We order their food all the time
