Via Garibaldi - White Plains

I went for lunch and had visited this restaurant a few times a couple of years ago. The atmosphere was comfortable, and the service was satisfactory. The food was decent, varying from average to good depending on the dish, with everything offered à la carte. However, I noticed that the vibe has changed since my previous visits.

My Aunt celebrated her 75th birthday at this restaurant on Saturday. I wasn’t too sure at first but this place was top TIER!! The atmosphere was calm soothing, the staff were amazing. There are no words to express the food. It was ABSOLUTELY amazing, delicious and fulfilling. The food just kept coming and each dish was better than the next. I’m a steak eater it was on par, seasoned and cooked just right. I give this restaurant a 10/10??

Ordered a simple salad with grilled shrimp for lunch. Shrimp were fine but salad drenched in dressing that had WAY too much vinegar. Could barely eat the lettuce. Ice tea tasted metallic and old.

Elsa took very good care of our reunion group. The food was unbelievable. Beautiful setting in White Plains.

Empty restaurant with start of dinner crowd. Took a while to be offered a menu or water. Started w soup, which was good. Risotto wasn't really risotto, but the saffron with the truffle oil and mushroom were a delicious combination. Loved it!Portion was enormous only ate about a quarter f what was served. Finished with three spoonfuls of the tiramisu.
