Nacoochee Pub Grub - White County

Had a great lunch here with my kids. The chicken salad sandwich with onion rings was perfect. Both my kids ordered the kids hamburger and tots. The burgers were big and I ended up helping both of them finish. The outdoor patio was nice and it was great to see dogs there too.

The food was good, and even though they were short-handed, the service good and food came out quickly. I would go back.

The waitress was rude. My blood sugar was dropping, I was shaking and she refused to give us our drinks even after I told her I needed the sugar. The food sucked. Meatloaf was made with rotel and had unmelted cheese on top. The green beans tasted like fake ham seasoning. The only positive thing was the mashed potatoes were good and real potatoes. Don’t waste your money here. Drive on into Helen for some good food.

Great food and beer with live bluegrass music from David Cheatham. Very nice evening out under the stars. This is the place to be with friends on a Saturday night.

My wife had the BLT with fries. She said the bread was toasted not grilled which she liked. I had the Grub Burger with fries. The fries were hot and crispy. We will definitely go back.They have outdoor seating.
