Rudy's Redeye Grill - White Bear Lake

Went for breakfast after church, there were only a few other tables in the indoor dining room occupied. I guess people are still skeptical about going out due to Covid-19. I ordered the breakfast burrito and my husband had the steak and eggs. Both came with creamy hashbrowns. The burrito was really good although not as big as others I've had at other restaurants. Hubby said the steak and eggs was very good too. We agreed that the best part of the meal was the hashbrowns, they are DELICIOUS! Our server was very nice but not quite on top of it, especially for the restaurant not being busy at all. He forgot the side order of toast and I had to wave him down to get a refill on my coffee. Minor things, and he did mention it was only his 2nd time working the breakfast shift. We will definitely be returning to Rudy's, the food is delicious and the prices are decent.

Cold food, bad service to get our meal and wait staff was not one to let us know where were in prep and serving our meals. It took over an hour before our meals came and not much contact with our server between our order and receive. For the prices calculated your rating would be bad and if there was a rating below that Rudy 's would fit. Not very professional. I guess it's true for the back you pay for what you don't get. Very disappointing.

Fish tacos were fishy tasting and the broccoli and potatoes were cold. Waitress did not even notice they went uneaten.

I am a positive person , I choose to eat delicious food and surround myself with friends in a safe environment. The summer nigh on the rooftop at Rudy’s was amazing . The food was not. Beyond the belligerent drunk man who would not leave the table of women to my right alone . He then verbally attacked my boyfriend screaming in his face . If that wasn’t enough -My baked potato was cold possibly frozen and the rest of the dish “signature walleye” I give 5 thumbs down ! . Have a drink and don’t eat !!! You will have a great time ... if nobody screams in your face !
