Shogun Japanese Restaurant - Whitby

The food and service at this restaurant were fantastic. The Teppanyaki was especially delicious and it is now our go-to spot for celebrating birthdays. We will definitely be returning.

My favorite sushi restaurant in Whitby. The staff is always friendly and the food is consistently great. It's also usually quiet every time we go, which I appreciate.

I visited this restaurant on a Friday night for all-you-can-eat. The menu was limited and the items we tried were not to our liking.

A very disappointing experience.Slow service(45 minutes to even get the table set up prperly)2.5 hours to do dinner-way too long!Staff was slow to serve and did so in an off-handed manner.We will most likely not be returning/We will be looking for a new Japanese restaurant with cook table service.

When I have a craving for shrimp tempura or sweet potato tempura, this is the place I go! So good. They have lots of different kinds of maki and sashimi. Small place. Easy to miss. Worth trying if you like Japanese.
