Jack Astor's Bar Grill - Whitby

Great service by Beth Engaging and courteous waitress made for a pleasant experience

Our service was great, the choices on the menu however and the flavour of our meal weren't that impressive.

Being a typical Jack Astor's, the noise level is always too loud to comfortably have a conversation.

The food and service at this restaurant are consistently great. However, during our visit, our table in the bar area was next to a leaking ceiling which didn't have a caution sign. One of the 6 chairs was getting dripped on, but thankfully it was unoccupied. Our server was fast at first but became slower, leaving us waiting a bit to place our orders.

I have been to this restaurant twice already. This time, I ordered the Hunters Chicken and my boyfriend got the BBQ burger. The Hunters Chicken was amazing. The vegetables were perfectly roasted, the smashed potatoes were crunchy and delicious, although a bit overly salted. The booths were a bit small but cozy. This was my only complaint, but overall the meal was delicious.
