Chatterpaul's - Whitby

I've been here a few times and it's kind of hit and miss. Nice decor, but food over the past year has been inconsistent. The last time I was there the salmon was way over cooked.like, c'mon guys. It's just as bad as ordering steak rare and getting it well done. I would expect a restaurant "like this" not to make this mistake. way way too overdone.

Went with friends. The food was good the atmosphere was nice. Get there early, they get busy,sometimes the line is out the door. My friends and I had a great time.

I visited Chatterpaul's for lunch for the first time last week. The staff was warm and friendly as ever and Joanna was one of a kind. Attentive, terrific at her job and helped make my dining experience special in every way. I am an older gal, dining alone but was not made to feel uncomfortable for one moment. I was very impressed by the sheer variety of dishes available on the lunch menu. The food was absolutely scrumptious, beautifully presented and memorable for every bite. I ordered coconut shrimp over a crispy crab cake in a lobster romilaude (sp?) sauce accompanied with fresh garden greens smothered in some truly decadent dressing. Majorly delish! For desert I chose a key lime tartlet with a raspberry sauce artfully designed on the plate. Fine dining at its best* Nothing put on your plate that isn't absolute perfection here. Can't wait to go back.

I have always heard good things about this restaurant but never gone, until family wanted to go out for dinner so we reserved a table and from we entered we were blown away by the ambiance and cozy atmosphere.The food and service is very very good,do not hesitate to try out this fine dining restaurant. Reservation suggested.
