Palmer's Gallery and Grill - Whistler

We only stopped for a beer after our bike ride. They have a great patio area that over looks the golf course. Decent selection of beers and good happy hour prices. Worth checking out for a relaxing beverage or a snack. It's located away from the hectic village area.

Sometimes you can get a great meal sometimes not. Breakfasts are generally very good if you have time to sit down before a round of golf. If not DO NOT buy their muffins or banana bread, they were disgusting! Heaviest muffin I have ever had, way too much oil in the banana bread, just gross, threw them out after one bite, those two items and a coffee and a bottle of water came to $14. (The next day we stopped in at Purebread instead for excellent scones and other exceptional baked goods to take on the course,similar prices but 100 times better quality!) After golf we did have lunch in the Palmer Grill, their ahi tuna fish tacos, complete rip off, $15 for 3 tacos, the piece of tuna in each taco was basically equivalent to a piece of tuna sashimi (1" x 2"). One party had the beef rib, chèvre mashed potatoe sandwich (very rich). Would not order again. Not crazy about their fat French fries, not crispy. Fried Chicken thigh wrap is ok, could use more chicken in it. There are much better places to eat but it is convenient after playing a round of golf.

Had a wonderful sandwich while my wife had a lovely fresh salad. Prices were reasonable and service was friendly even if it was a little slow.

Good breakfast and a nice selection of appetizers and lunch entrees following golf! Service was good, the food delicious, the view outstanding!

You can be inside or out, under cover or not, in the shade or out. Drinks are good and the $5 happy hour wine is a decent size. The food is disappointing except for the burger and fries - they are good as expected. We've had the ribs and the tacos on different days and the ribs are just okay while the tacos are too spicy and simply fish sticks. Nice place after golf or if you want lots of seat selection and good service. We have never been there when it is even half full and last night we were by ourselves for most of our meal.
