Unfortunately, it's a small spot and too many people stop there at lunch, so the wait for food is long and you won't have a place to sit once you get your food. That aside, the sandwich was ok/satisfying and did the job.
The Pulled Pork grilled cheese was delicious! Tons of flavor, quick and easy on the mountain. Not sure what happen to the folks that left the other reviews, but I had a great experience.
This place is a joke. There are big signs Ollie 's grilled cheese all over the place. However, once you come up you see smaller signs that say that grilled items are only available on weekends and the other 5 days they only have basically fries and drinks
2 years ago, I ate at Ollie's a few times and enjoyed it. I came back to Whistler and wanted to eat there again. They had a sign that said they were closed. On that same sign it said open daily. They were also closed over the next 2 days. Their closed sign did not indicate any details about why they were closed or when they would be open. They finally opened on my 4th at Whistler, only to not have any sandwiches available. Not a single kind of grilled cheese or even a classic grilled cheese. How can you be a grilled cheese shop and not have any grilled cheese or sandwiches available? What viable reason could they have? All they had was fries and poutine. Additionally, their menu went from about 10 items to about 3. This place does not care about its customers and has been run into the ground.
How dare you replace Beavertail. I have a 7 year old son who was really looking forward to eating one since he ate one 2 years ago, but when we arrived we only saw your shop. He was very sad and refused to ski more on the mountain. It was only 10 o'clock. I have wasted my $135 ticket on a very disappointing morning.
