Straight Up Espresso - Whakatane

Best coffee in Whakatane, from the guy that used to own The Bean down the road (when it was awesome). I hear he managed to get both joints in The Lonely Planet. Great music and atmosphere, and the staff are lovely. Excellent local vibe.

Great hot chocolate. Super friendly staff and obviously loved by the locals as they were all greeted by first names and with plenty of banter.

If you need a decent coffee with friendly service this is the place to go.
