Stracey's Fish And Chip Shop - Weymouth

I stumbled upon this place and was pleasantly surprised. The area was clean and fresh, and my order of small cod and chips was served quickly. For just £5, the meal was fresh, very tasty, and the portion size was perfect for a small meal. I would definitely return if I were nearby.

We visited this fish and chip shop twice before it relocated, the last time being in March 2022. We found the food to be of good quality and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, in April 2022, they experienced a fire and had to close temporarily. One recent review gave them a disappointing two-star rating, expressing significant dissatisfaction, although their review coincided with the closure.

This is a fantastic restaurant! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful; they went above and beyond for us. The chips were freshly cooked and absolutely perfect, and the garlic mushrooms were delicious. I highly recommend this fish and chip shop and can't wait to visit again when we're in the area!

Very good food, delicious, well packed, and good value. warm and friendly staff of this fish and chip shop is located directly outside the Haven site and is much better than the on-site shop.

Amazing little chippy, great food and good prices. Food was freshly prepared and made to order, will definitely be popping in again
