Honigmühle - Wetzlar

Lang Lang is here, but the honey mill was then a secret tip for exquisite German cuisine. When we had guests from Asia, my parents reserved a large group. They opened up for us today. They were very friendly and discussed every dish and every walk with us and patiently explained what ingredients are in the dishes. We had various specialties, starting with a clear vegetable broth, then we went with asparagus and sauce hollandaise, with ham, then there was a main dish with salmon, with noodles, with salad, with vegetables We only have one assortment where everyone could try. As dessert there were ice cream and fresh fruits. We felt all the time around and the nature around the honey mill is also very idyllic with a small brook and lots of forest and possibly some hiking trails. Parking is available in the house. You should probably call first when they opened. I found the then reasonable prices (DM times).

It's a small, rustic outing place. Inside only one handful of tables, next to it a beautiful shady beer garden, all around only well-kept green. The map is of course manageable, but you don't expect more to be able. The food is prepared with attention to detail, so it should. The host is very nice and friendly. Anyone who likes to sit in the secluded green will be fully at his expense. Five stars for location, service, preparation, kindness. How nice that there is something like that! We look forward to the next time!

A beautiful restaurant, not cold and sterile, but cozy with many small details here you can feel the history of the last year's candles. The cook is an absolute master of his subject, here you get delicious great food. The waitress is really very friendly and very warm!

We were on a hike and are in the honey mill and asked for a glass of water. We were told, please leave the host room we have a closed company afterwards. You can put it outside under the umbrella and rest, but I can't give you a water. We stopped under the umbrella for half an hour. There was no guest of the closed society. Thanks for the hospitality.
