Le Clos Alexi - Wettolsheim

The Alsatian cuisine--including daily specials--is excellent; the service is pleasant and welcoming providing good value for the price. The puff pastry will melt in your mouth, and the sous chef's sauces are the best. Vegan/non-gluten/kid menus are available. Located a few minutes drive amongst vineyards (and minutes from Colmar or Equisheim) you'll discover a woodsy oasis beside a small, clear lake. Parking is plentiful. Enjoy outdoor dining on the terrace under the pergolas as children enjoy the large, grassy play area; indoors you'll appreciate intimate seating or the bar. At mid-day in early June, we observed mostly French-speaking patrons, although German and English are spoken. Owner/Chef Lionel and his lovely wife Valerie will provide a pleasant and memorable meal and visit. Well worth the country drive.

We were looking for a place that was open late in the evening for a quick meal that offered options for a very picky kid. This was a good choice nice pizzas, kids menu, friendly service, very spacious place. It has a nice playground outside, perfect for the kids to play while.adults enjoy their meal. It is also possible to take away pizzas, though the desserts did not impress.

Just outside Colmar, in a bit of fairy tale forest, Clos Alexi is a great place to have lunch or dinner, preferably with a big group of friends of family, at a long table under the trees. Good food, good wine and nature all around, What more could you ask for? It`s not even expensive!

Petit resto perdu au milieu des bois et des champs. Service très sympa et rapide . La carte un peu légère surtout qu'il n y avait pas de tartes flambées dispo ni de pizzas lors de notre passage ... pour un moment de détente au bord du petit lac qui grouille de poissons peu farouches!!! Un régal pour occuper les enfants . Un peu déçu par la carte dommage.

Localisation parfaite, belle terrasse ombragée.Service un peu long.Les tartes flambées ne sont pas faites maison.
