The Stables - Wetherby

Fantastic spot to relax and enjoy a meal; the breakfast is outstanding!

The meals at Stables are delicious, especially the Sunday roast. The staff always offers a warm welcome, and the atmosphere is fantastic. There's a genuine effort to create a great dining experience.

When we rode past the restaurant on our bikes yesterday, we were intrigued by the menu and the delicious-looking food, which led us to decide to stop by again after our bike tour. The staff was extremely friendly and generously offered us extra water and ice for our trip. Later in the evening, we returned and found a table in the sun, but then the weather took a turn. Linda explained that they couldn’t accommodate us inside as the restaurant was fully booked, but she suggested we sit in the winter garden at the back. I felt disappointed since we enjoy dining outdoors, but then I noticed a cozy wooden structure in the beer garden and proposed we try sitting there. Although they mentioned it hadn’t been cleaned yet, to our delight, Jake promptly took care of it, disinfecting the tables for us! Now that’s what I call feeling welcomed! Our meals were absolutely delicious, and the service from all three staff members, including Tom the cook, was exceptional! Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time to stay for dessert or the quiz night. Maybe next time!

We throughly enjoyed our time at the stables and bar restaurant today. We had afternoon tea and was presented with a table of afternoon tea fit for a queen! . Thanks guys for a lovely treat for me and my 9 year old x
