Mooyah Burgers, Fries Shakes - Westwood

For the price, I expected better and bigger burgers from Five Guys. Everything on the burger was cold except for the patty. How is it possible for the bun to be toasted and yet everything else is cold when I eat it?

The burgers are fantastic, but the staff truly stand out. I ordered crispy fries, and they made a fresh batch just for me. The burger was excellent, and I highly recommend trying it—you won’t be disappointed!

Mooyah in Old Tappan, NJ, what happened? The food used to be fresh and delicious, but yesterday my fries looked greasy and as if they had been cooked in old oil. There were also strange bits on the fries—were those crickets? Did they stay in the fryer too long? On a positive note, my hamburger was good. If I could give half stars, I would rate it 2.5. But since that’s not an option and I'm usually all about the fries, I have to give a rating of two stars. Based solely on the fries, I would give it no stars at all. Now my mouth feels coated with a layer of grease that needs to be scrubbed off. Mooyah, you've lost my trust.

Yesterday, a couple of our kids visited, and we decided to order lunch from Mooya's, which was their first experience with it. They absolutely loved the burgers, fries, and chicken strips, especially highlighting the quality that we have always appreciated from Mooya's. The staff is consistently friendly and attentive to ensuring that orders are accurate, especially Maria, who is an exceptional manager there. Thank you! Happy Holidays!

This was our first visit to a Mooyah, and I must say the food was delicious, the shakes were fantastic, but it was the staff at the Old Tappan location that truly made our experience exceptional. We would definitely return just for the outstanding service!
