Segnette Landing Harbor Front Dining

My wife and I had the crab dip, spicy crawfish etouffee, jambalaya, and the crab cakes. Everything was delicious! Service was good and the atmosphere was quiet. A great family restaurant and excellent Cajun cuisine.

PROs;The food here is exceptional. I've been here many times and had the majority of the menu items offered and all are excellent. The Mardi Gras Catfish twist on crawfish ettoffe is awesome as is thier bread pudding.CONs;It's usually pretty warm inside. The AC could use some help for comfort...Also, as I usually eat alone, I like to sit at the bar and have a few drinks before dinner. However it seems like you can never sit at the bar???...tonight was no exception with no one sitting at the bar at all but yet I took up a table and had to wait 10 minutes when the bar was open and vacant...While the server was quick at first and asked if I wanted an appetizer, the service was less noticeable into the meal. I only had one drink and had to stop her for a beer later. The food was delicious but she immediately brought me the ticket instead of trying to upsell dessert (which I would have ordered) or another drink (which I would have also had). This is revenue that your buisness is losing needlessly....Let people sit at the Bar. Offer appetizers, and dessert to every table. And if they are drinking, make sure to ask if they want another. And fix the AC. Comfortable patrons spend more.
