The Tavern - Westport

I visited the Tavern last Saturday week with my husband and kids! Was greeted at the door by the lovely bar manager who was fully covid compliant. He showed us to our seat and food and service was excellent after that, we will definitely be back!

Visited the Tavern recently after a recommendation and it did not disappoint! From the get go everything was perfect! Definitely no entry without your covid cert! Well done! Food was amazing! The manager Dave couldn't do enough for us, waitress was so lovely and helpful and checked on us a few times! Will definitely be back!

After climbing Croagh Patrick, this restaurant was a welcomed stop. I ordered the open plate combo with smoked salmon and crab salad, which was a great source of protein after the hike. My companion had the Cajun chicken dish and thought it was delicious. The service was quick and efficient.

Today, I climbed Croagh Patrick with some friends and afterward, we met up with family at the tavern for a meal. I ordered the open plate seafood dish, which was fantastic, and washed it down with a pint of Guinness. The service was excellent as well. Our waiter, who I believe is named Colm, was fantastic. He was very attentive and made our visit special. He is definitely a credit to the tavern.
