Mastersons Pub - Westport

Lovely welcoming pub on a cold rainy day in Achill. The stove was nice and warm to sit in front of. The staff were friendly and we had fantastic service from Symone. Owner was very friendly and he saw that my little girl had hurt her foot so brought her a stool to rest it on and got her some cream and a plaster from the kitchen. Lovely people.

We visited last week, food was lovely, the staff were great but there was not enough of them..,.... Maybe they can't get people to work but we waited ages to be served. Pity, lovely place, spectacular scenery.

Went for a walk on the beach across from the bar and when we got back we really enjoyed the lovely bowl of chowder we got and the lovely warm fire
