Mouton Noir Traiteur & Cafe - Westmount

Considering that this is basically the coffee/sandwich shop for a community sports and recreation centre we were delighted to find that it exceeded expectations. On a beautiful Sunday morning we stopped for espresso and croissants and opted to sit on the extensive terrace. The fact that the cafe sits in an elegant park allows the cafe to offer a very unique ambiance. The next day we returned for lunch and sat inside due to the rain.The interior is also very comfortable and welcoming and our meal as good.

Located in Westmount Recreation Centre, so a convenient location for both rec centre patrons and Westmount residents. All the food, from pastries to sandwiches, are delicious and made in-house. The coffee is great, beats out Starbucks any day. And the bilingual staff are always super friendly and efficient. All around, a wonderful cafe with a relaxed vibe. A nice place to stop through any day of the week!

Having a café in the recreation center is a wonderful idea. It is a great place to take a break, while either skating or walking through the park for a cup of coffee or a soup and sandwich. Features include: friendly staff, a nice spacious eating area and good home-cooked food. Open 7 days a week.

Came to Le Grand Palais for the first time to see the Picasso Exhibit.
