Contribuiți la feedbackLouie is extremely talented! The steak, pasta, and chicken liver mousse (I could go on) are the best in Montreal (100% honest). Renee, the wine expert, is very knowledgeable - listen to her! I adore this place, I visit frequently. The staff works hard and put their hearts into it. I can't wait for my next visit! We were not able to eat at this restaurant because of poor reservation management and communication. For context, we made a reservation over a month ago for a birthday celebration. We received a confirmation call on the day of the reservation, which we took as a good sign. We arrived on-time and see a small queue, but were told it would only be a few minutes because a table was paying. No problem. A few minutes stretches into 15 minutes, then 30 minutes. We ask about our table and are told that two groups are close to paying, but then see other groups, of the same size and larger, get seated inside (at the bar and at tables). When we expressed our displeasure at the situation and asked when we were to be seated, we are again told that it will be a few minutes. When we asked why at least one other couple that arrived after us were seated, we were told that they had an earlier reservation (that they arrived a full 15 minutes late for, as we watched them check-in), and asked if we wanted to sit outsideas it was pouring rain. Having no faith in the staff and no trust that we would be seated within the hour, we left after waiting 41 minutes past our reservation time. We could have easily gone elsewhere, but were gaslit into staying for as long as we did because tables were ‘just finishing.’ We are visiting for the weekend and were excited to go to this restaurant, though we could have gone to any number of others in a city full of great restaurants. Waiting happens, particularly on busy weekends, but the poor table management and even worse communication really ruined the evening. Avoid this place if you can.
Totally on point! Excellent service, fabulous family feeling ambience, tremendous food from start to finish. We ate everythingwe are still here and if they would let me, I would have a nap (chairs and banquettes are super comfy) and order more fries in an hour and probably more codand the dessert! I’ll be back sooner than later! Cheers to Reneé and Louie, we can taste the love and passion in every detail of our meal Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Visiting Montreal after many years and quite disappointed at this highly rated restaurant- booked last min and got a spot in the night, when we got in another 5 mins waiting by the door which was fine, then we sat down and I ordered the ravioli it was mediocre and I tried ordering beef tartar finding it was sold out! First time dining at a place that sells out which looks like they are not prepared for meeting the capacity of customers, I then ordered halloumi but it was too sweet and I couldn’t keep eating after finishing half. The sorbet was quite good I guess it made up for the bad mains. I left the resto with a hungry stomach and don’t think it’s worth $90 for what I got. Also I had to yell the entire time because I couldn’t hear my friend due to the extremely loud atmosphere. Service was slow I had to ask three waitresses the same question on whether my dish will be delivered..won’t go back Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$90–100 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
