If there was a way to give negative stars I wish I could as to represent the negative outcome this location and specifically the owner Muhhamed provided.Long story short, my wife ordered a smoothie online in which I went a mere 15 minutes later to pickup. I walked in and said I was there to pick up a smoothie and provided both my and my wifes first/last name. A female associate said she hadn 't recieved or made any pickup orders. She then asked the other female associate who also said she hadn 't recieved or made any pickup orders. Being that it was so close to their closing time, I thought maybe the order was canceled so I made the decision to order and leave with 2 smoothies I figured my wife would like. When I got home, my wife said the order was not canceled and she was still debited for the smoothie she ordered online. I called the next day to get refunded and after a back and forth from corporate to the Westmont store on who would be responsible, it was determined Muhhamed, the owner, would be the one responsible for issuing the refund.And this is when this interaction goes from bad to worse. Obviously not wanting to issue a refund or simply not believing me, Muhhamed stated he would need to do an investigation on the matter!!! Are you kidding?!?! An investigation?!?! Like a criminal?!?! But knowing this was cut and dry, black and white I let him do his investigation. He called back later that same day and said per his investigation, he determined the smoothie WAS made, it WAS sitting in the freezer, and that I never came to pick it up so that he WOULD NOT be issuing us a refund!If I never came to pick it up, how did I know it was 2 younger females working that night? If I never came to pick it up, how did I end up with 2 smoothies in my hand? Why would I even buy 2 smoothies if I didn 't come to pick up an order THAT WAS ALREADY PAID FOR in the first place. His logic is completely flawed and his customer service skills are completely absent. Somehow it is my fault that his employees told me there was no pickup order at all for anyone at that time. It is my fault that I believed them. It is my fault for not checking his freezer just to be sure they weren 't lying to me. This is just wrong on so many levels.
Placed an order online, charged. Staff states they never received the order. Spoke to the owner/corporate. Was given the run around. Provided order number, still no refund.Crazy the would loose a customer over their error.Smoothies aren’t that great either!
Owner was rude over the phone and in person. App was not working and he refused to honor a deal in store despite the app directing him to do just that. One of the worst customer service experience I have had. Smoothie king corporate needs to intervene.
Excellent smoothie! This was a big change from what I expereinced back in July/August right after I moved to Westmont. Kudos to the staff and the owner for the improvement.
The owners of this place take advantage of their employees. Especially the young lady who works in the morning! Other employees don't show up and she is there to do everything on her own all day. When things slow down she tries to sit for ten minutes, then go finish up the rest of her work. Owners call and say no sitting down, you have work that needs to be done. Like what! Owners if you're reading this you need to give this young lady a raise. She never calls off and never complains. You have a great employee on your hands. So be careful you will lose her to your blindness! Your welcome! You can send me your number if you want to talk.
