However, there was about an hour wait between the time we received our appetizers and when our main dishes arrived. During this wait, there were four other tables (five in total, including ours) that had already started on their desserts, which left us puzzled about the delay in our meals. One of the entrees we received was still raw, which I found unacceptable after waiting over an hour. When we informed the waitress, she assured us they would fix it. At that point, we chose not to wait any longer since we didn't know how long it would take to get a replacement. They didn’t charge us for the dish and offered to give us a complimentary dessert, which we declined. While the entrees were just okay, the appetizers were excellent. The service was generally good, apart from a couple of snappy remarks. Fast forward to today, and one of our guests woke up with food poisoning. Overall, it was a decent experience, but I’m unsure why the food took so long to prepare, and then it wasn’t fully cooked. The restaurant has a fine dining atmosphere based on its decor and menu, but I don’t think it has fully reached that standard with the food yet. That’s just my opinion. We appreciate the efforts of the staff, though.

What a gem this restaurant is! It was just a quick 20-minute drive from the Beechmont Inn, where we were staying in Hanover, PA, and it came highly recommended by our innkeeper. Everything we enjoyed, from the wine to the dessert, was splendid, but the rockfish truly stood out as unforgettable. The buffalo fillet was both tender and juicy.

As always, the meal was fantastic! We enjoyed a chef's tasting menu that we purchased through a charity auction, and Ken and his team certainly did not disappoint. The duck egg rolls, filet, lamb lollipops, and heirloom tomato salad were all exceptional. The service was impeccable as well.

A true gem in Carroll County. Excellent food, wonderful ambiance, and top-notch service.

I had an incredible dining experience – it was truly the best! Ken, the owner and chef, was exceptionally welcoming, and the restaurant itself was impeccably clean. The service was outstanding, and the staff really enhanced our positive experience. We couldn't stop saying "wow" throughout the meal, especially until dessert was served. Everything was absolutely delicious. WOW!!!!
