Long John Silver's - Westland

My recent experience at Long John Silver's was disappointing. I've always enjoyed their food, but on Monday, September 12, 2022, it fell short. The fried fish and chicken were overcooked, leaving them tough and lacking flavor. The hush puppies were also hard, as if they had been cooked too long and merely kept warm under a heat lamp, rather than made fresh for customers. Overall, it was a terrible experience, especially since I went there feeling hungry and eager to enjoy a nice meal. We spent about $50 on our order, but I won’t be returning. This was my third visit, and I think it's safe to say that three strikes means I'm out.

The fish was great, as usual, but the 20-ounce drink I received seemed to be almost half that size! I questioned the guy at the window to confirm if it was really 20 ounces, and he insisted it was. I was skeptical because it looked really small, and he seemed quite annoyed by my inquiry. So, I went inside and bought a 20-ounce Mountain Dew to compare. When I poured it into the cup, there were at least two ounces left in my drink container, just as I suspected. I feel cheated! I'm disappointed because I really love their fish.

I hadn't been to Long John Silver's in a while, but I've always enjoyed their menu, and I was not disappointed. The food was hot and well-prepared, served promptly, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

I always come to this place when I want delicious fresh seafood. I always order my favorites: the fish chicken platter. I give long john silver 4 and half a star! (still not how to give 4 1/2 stars in the review)

Drive thru had good timing. When I added to my order at the window, the young lady was nice enough to add it and didn't give me a hard time about it. Good customer service. Thank you. Will come again.
