Jeanne's Bourbon Street Bbq - Westlake

I visited this restaurant on a quiet Monday afternoon. I was staying at a casino a few blocks away and I must say, I was very impressed with this place. The sandwiches were huge, the bread was fresh and tasty, and the sauce was delicious. As we were leaving, they were setting up for live music, making it seem like a great spot for both tourists and locals. If you're in the area near the casino and craving some good BBQ, definitely check this place out. Service: Dine in.

The BBQ at this restaurant is excellent, but the dessert was so good it had me ready to propose marriage! I will definitely be coming back. The service was top-notch and the atmosphere was great. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. Service: 5/5, Food: 4/5, Atmosphere: 5/5.

If you plan on eating at this restaurant, I would recommend making a reservation well in advance, especially for lunch. There isn't even a walk-up counter for takeout orders. I had hoped to have a quick 1-hour lunch there, but it seemed impossible due to the lack of service. Unfortunately, I didn't even get to try the food as no one took my drink order and there were hardly any customers with food in front of them. After reading other reviews, it seems like I may have dodged a bullet in terms of overpriced mediocre food.

Best barbecue in the Westlake and Lake Charles area. This place is off the charts I ate there almost everyday when I was there outstanding service, the atmosphere has the WOW effect. If you're a Winchester arms fan you have got the check this place out they have about everything you could imagine that was ever made by Winchester hanging on their walls from guns to fishing reels pipe wrenches shooting tins In pictures of the folks who actually shot the tens from the 1800s this place is a must if you're in the area or just passing through you will not regret it
