Longstanding restaurant that takes great pride in its food, cleanliness, and service. I usually have the tofu soup, which also has an egg in it (cooked to order, so you can specify spiciness and content). It is tasty and has fresh vegetables. Today it was light on salt, which is good, giving you the option to add it or not. It comes with Kimchi and a pickled veggie, as well as a cup of tea. There is usually a live soccer game playing quietly on a large screen by day. It doesn't get in the way, but if you enjoy the game, there it is! I really enjoy my meals here, simple and unpretentious as it is. A true family business.
Looks like nothing special but you know there's hope when it's a real Korean ajumma and ahjusshi cooking. The bimpap is the largest order I've ever seen and was delicious. It takes time though so don't get it if you're in a hurry. Also don't come too late or they won't be able to make it. The seafood pancake was crispy and filled with chunks of seafood. Cup-bop was unique, it was better without the seemingly random lettuce and tomato on top. Still good but would stick to other dishes next time. Soft tofu soup hits the spot when you want something hot and comforting. This is my fav Korean place in this area now.
Food was excellent, I thought reasonably priced, especially for Westfield. Portions good sized. Food came pretty quickly, and waiter was very nice, answered questions and brought a pitcher of water. Atmosphere was basic but cozy.
Really good authentic Korean food. Excellent customer service. I definitely recommend this place
