Contribuiți la feedbackI have not had a positive experience at this restaurant in the past, but was pleasantly surprised last Friday when I saw friendly staff and an improved interior. The restaurant is now open and ready to serve large appetites, with the best coffee available long after the visitor center closes. If you are in a rush, you can place your order online and pick it up when you arrive.
After leaving the area, I regretted forgetting to take a photo of this quaint Tasmanian bush shop located at the gas station. Although the selection of food items is limited, I was able to purchase breakfast essentials since the Park Hotel does not offer breakfast. Additionally, they offer snacks for sale at noon and provide convenience with their gasoline services, especially when Maydena General Store is closed.
This cafe is situated in a stunning riverfront location. We were given the option to choose how strong we wanted our Cafe Latte, which is a rare and appreciated gesture. The food was delicious and served promptly with a friendly smile. They also had lovely locally made crafts available for purchase.
We stopped here for lunch on the way from the national park. What beautiful people!!! Yummy fish and chips and salad rolls and sandwich. Nice room to fit and eat with interesting information about the region on the display. Definitely recommend!
Randomly walked into this roadhouse and asked if they had breakfast available. The lovely owner of the business said yes she does eggs. Bacon? Yes? Coffee? Yes. Breakfast came out and it was perfect. Even wholemeal bread with marmalade. Best breakfast near the Mount Field...National Park so far. Don't be put off by how the place looks!
