Sunny Street Cafe - Westerville

Delicious breakfast and super friendly staff! We had an awesome waitress (Savannah) she was on top of our refills and gave awesome recommendations! Would definitely recommend!!

This restaurant, no matter location, is always consistent. Some of the best wait staff, too. I was here at the Westerville location for some quick lunch before they closed and had a great experience. If you like this review, please like and follow foe more around town.

The Benny is the best in the area. It is our favorite spot for a brunch. You need to go there at least once.

The staff was nice and the coffee was good but unfortunately, that's where the positives stopped. The food was extremely disappointing. I don't mind spending $15 on brunch, but the bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns were both undercooked and overcooked at the same time. The dish lacked flavor and the texture was off for everything on the plate.

The restaurant is too expensive for what is served, in my opinion. I was surprised to receive deep-fried seasoned potatoes that were previously frozen, considering that many places in the Westerville area make breakfast from scratch. We ordered the King CFS (978) Chicken fried steak covered in sausage gravy, two eggs, and toast for $13.99. The portion of steak was smaller than we are used to, and we only received one piece of toast instead of the usual two. The hash browns were also previously frozen and deep-fried. The gravy was decent, but they did not provide salt or pepper. There was not enough ketchup, but an excessive amount of jelly for the toast. I also tried their famous hearty breakfast for $12.39, which included 2 eggs, 2 pancakes, 3 strips of bacon, and home fries. It was just okay. The best part of the meal was the syrup, which was made in Ohio. Overall, there are better and more affordable breakfast options in the Westerville area.
