Ormonde Private Cellar - Western Cape

A place we will never go to again, upon arrival, we were told our music were too loud,ok totally understandable but then we were given all sorts of what nots to do, like we can't selfies inside because of don't know what and just there we decide not to go inside because we felt unwelcomed.

In all the years we've been going to Darling we hadn't visited Ormonde, and Oh what a sin! This estate is beautiful, the wines are delicious and the platter for 2 was shared amongst 4 of us, it was delicious and great value for money. A wine tasting of 8 wines is R50, a charcuterie platter for 2 is R250 and more than enough for 4 people and the service was immaculate. Delicious platters and great wine! I enjoyed the beautiful flowers on the way there — not too far to drive from Cape Town.

Absolutely amazing wine tasting! Jackie was amazing. She made the experience a ton of fun, keeping us laughing and well informed at the same time. Lovely venue and some really great wines.
