Houw Hoek Farm Stall - Western Cape

What an amazing little place. So quaint and ‘nostalgic’! It certainly lives up to its reputation. Food is great! Will definitely be going back!

Love going there for farm fresh eggs. Plus the coffee and bread are still made on a coal stove!

Quirky and cool place, both a small restaurant and antique thrift store. Specializing in old wood fired stoves which I have never seen in such volume and range. Food is farm style home cooked simple meals, some cakes and drinks. Lots of seating outside with a few tables inside. Lots to see, food was great, service good, worth a visit for the short ride off the N2 just after Sedgefield if passing through.

What a gem found in a country setting. Very relaxing and friendly service.

Lovely stop. Had a great vegan range and lots of freshly baked goods. Was very busy, but service was great.
