Rhodos Fam. Vassiliu - Westerhorn

My wife and I have been living in Westerhorn since 1.4 and have to go on a short walk in Rhodes, although I am a little fragile and not necessarily a fan of Greek food. 1. Try: Absolutely full, had not waited too long, but a place at the door, now yes. The food has not convinced us and confirmed my prejudices. 2. Try it. The restaurant was not so full, I ordered a message with roasted anchovies and salad and it was delicious and I was filled; Surprise! 3. Try with our neighbours who have been and liked several times. I ordered fish fillet with beans. The combination was generally strange. But the guest must. The fish was fried, not necessarily mine, but tasted. The beans I suspected were, however, a mixture of horse beans somewhat smaller) and peas beans. For me they were an attempt and my last one. But these beans were now the center of communication between me and the waitress, which was amazed at the almost untouched supplement. To amuse all at the table, we bleed now for the beans and this culminated in their statement that they freeze the beans and I would bleed them on the plate during our next visit. The summit was that the boss was moved in and he now deepened the subject. This was accompanied by Ouzo without delay and the mood was no longer to hold and remained until the restaurant was empty and we wanted to go. Until the door the owner accompanied us with his Ouzo bottle. You can think about kitchen and stars what you want, but experience gastronomy can also be different. It was so for me; especially for fun!

Best Greek here in the area. Nice staff and good food. Always rich portions. Chef and Chef are always nice and friendly and sit on the table. For the weekend you should definitely book.

My favorite Greek. I used to eat more often since I live in Hamburg, unfortunately not anymore. That's something special. A more family atmosphere, super food, the bifteki is top and already from the appetizers you are almost saturated. My accompaniment never really managed to teach the record. This restaurant is absolutely recommended!

Great Greek! Great food. the Gyros is one of the best I have eaten so far. I would also give 10 stars. The portions are large and nevertheless favorable. The Oberkellner is friendly and always has a good saying in stock. Absolutely recommended.
