Yankee D's - WESTCOURT

This restaurant is a winner for American cuisine style, with generous portions and excellent value for money. The burgers are delicious, and their homemade BBQ sauce is a standout feature. A true gem in the Cairns suburbs.

Good smell to enter with the woodfire burning. Burger and hotdogs tasted amazing. Need to try some other loaded fries to find the flavour I prefer. Wait staff were helpful. Will be going back.

Our first visit to this restaurant was a great experience. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the decor was nice. The menu offered a good variety of interesting options, although the prices were on the higher side, we felt they were worth it. We tried the Creole squid, which was nicely seasoned and delicious when paired with the salad. I had the 'Where's Timmy' burger, which had a nice balance of spiced hummus, sun-dried tomatoes, and lamb. The appetizer was served quickly, with a slightly longer wait for the main course, but we didn't have to inquire about the delay. Overall, it was a lovely night out and we will definitely be returning.

The "Double Barrel Shotgun" burger is extremely meaty and perfect for those craving a carnivorous meal. It is one of the juiciest burgers I have ever tasted!

Burgers are good, cheesy garlic bread and cheesy fries are good. Ribs are good, are too much other stuff and couldn't fit in the chicken. If you haven't checked out this place give it a try. Will see how the steak goes before awarding my last star!
