Contribuiți la feedbackWhat kind of hotel doesn't have a mini fridge these days? This one does not. The room is spacious, but the beds are placed on opposite walls, leaving the TV in the middle, which means only one person can comfortably watch it. There are no bedside lamps, just an excessively bright overhead lighting setup. The Wi-Fi is barely functional. I really wish we had chosen another place, but we're stuck here for three nights.
The room was decent in terms of comfort, but there were some issues. The curtains were blocking the air conditioning unit, and only one of the beds faced the TV. Overall, the room is in need of significant upgrades. The price is a bit high for a worn-down motel, but it’s functional for a short stay.
I had a wonderful stay here. It’s very close to the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and clean. Just a heads up: there is no fridge in the room. I would definitely visit again. Thank you!
The mattress on the bed is terrible—it's like something straight out of the Spanish Inquisition! The room is quite dark, with only two bedside lamps providing light. There's no overhead lighting and nothing illuminating the tiny desk, so I’m currently writing this from a dim corner. There isn’t even a bedside table, and the furniture looks like it was collected from a roadside yard sale. I had to use my suitcase propped up as a table just to eat my Subway sandwich for dinner. The bathroom is cramped and has the appearance of being hastily put together, complete with messy caulking. As for the front desk service, it leaves much to be desired. When I reported that the internet connection in my room wasn’t working (I spent over ten minutes trying to load a simple web page), the front desk attendant barely looked up from his Nintendo Switch and said it was fine on his end. After some persistence, he reluctantly reset the router, but the internet speed was barely better than dial-up. The DirectTV was also problematic. A maintenance worker had to restart the whole system, and even then, most of the channels were unavailable. I was told that they don’t subscribe to many channels, and I would need to keep searching for something that works. No, they don’t have a list of available channels—this is what you get for $200 a night. There’s no bedside nightstand, clock, in-room coffee, refrigerator, microwave, hangers, or closet. There isn’t even a vanity in the bathroom, so I have nowhere to place a shaving kit, toothbrush, or anything else. (See the photo.) The sink looks like it’s from 1965. We are booked for two rooms over three nights. On a positive note, the manager agreed to refund us for the next two nights. I found another motel 45 miles away. Although it means more driving, it'll be worth it to escape this dump! *As a side note, the internet here is so awful that I had to use my iPhone as a hotspot just to make new reservations!
The photos on their website do not capture the true quality of the facility. There was plenty of parking, and I was able to park my large rental car just 30 feet from my room. Staying on the ground floor was convenient, especially since the building only has two stories and lacks an elevator. The room itself was spacious, roughly the size of two and a half standard motel rooms, featuring two large queen beds and two big windows—about seven feet long—that let in plenty of natural light and could be opened for fresh air. The air conditioning and heating worked perfectly. The bathroom was also large and clean, stocked with plenty of nice white towels, large dispensers of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, and even hand sanitizer along with soaps. Located just eight miles from the West Entrance of Yellowstone, this place allowed for multiple visits to the park, which was a great advantage. Plus, my lifelong Senior Pass made entry quite affordable. The area boasts a variety of dining options, shopping, gift stores, local markets, and a range of cuisines—from fast food to fine dining, American to Mexican, as well as Chinese and Vietnamese. While there wasn’t a coffee machine in my room (they are available at the front office), the room did include a microwave and a small fridge that were more than sufficient. The comfortable, firm beds and adequate pillows contributed to a great night's sleep, and daily housekeeping was polite and meticulous, even neatly placing my books, magazines, and TV remotes on top of the made beds. In summary, I would definitely stay here again and would be happy to recommend it to my daughters and family.
