Old Mountain Tavern - West Virginia

One of the best bar/tavern experiences you could imagine. Had an incredibly good time with a great beer selection and wonderful music options/choices. The owner, Danny, was incredibly generous, kind, and fun. Top notch experience from beginning to end. Absolutely recommend without hesitation. It's so nice to see an owner and staff truly care about the customer. I wish every place was like Old Mountain Tavern!

We went here after a day of skiing for a beer and to watch the playoffs for the NFL. This was a great little bar with a nice draught selection and a full liquor selection as well. We ordered some food from the Italian place next door that was good as well. The staff at the Mountain Tavern were super nice and there were a lot of regulars there at the bar top. Recommended!

We had a great time at the old mountain bar! My husband an I was attending the Roadkill festival and stopped in to have a few beers and ended up staying 8 hours!! Very nice and clean place. Friendly staff and the owner Danny was great! The only complaint we have was the choice in music. We were disappointed we drove 6 hrs to a quiet mountain town to hear rap and hip hop music we could of heard in a city bar. This place is an awesome spot!! Danny and his team are so fun and friendly, and there is always some sort of event going on at night. It's a great spot to get together with friends, and the drinks are delicious!!

Great little spot in a great little town. Friendly folks, and a good selection of great beers.
