Chick-N-Joy - West Toronto

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and affordability of the fried chicken at this restaurant.

I had a great experience at Chicken restaurant. The chicken and fries were fantastic - not greasy at all. However, I was disappointed with the slaw and hot sauce. The hot sauce was not spicy and had a fruity taste that I did not enjoy. I don't think it was worth the $1.20 I paid for it. Overall, the chicken was incredible!

I really enjoy the chicken joy at this restaurant. Make sure to try their chicken gravy - it's the only place in the city where I've been able to find it so far.

Chicken, Fried Chicken.... Authentic southern styled deep fried chicken take out establishment, not miles away in taste from KFC, but a cleaner home cooking type seasoning. <br/ Not the healthiest choice but for what it is but very tasty and friendly service.<br/ Not many options other then chicken, fries and choice of salad.<br/ <br/ Surprised they don't have chicken wings!

Located along the quieter portion of Queen East between Leslieville the Beach, Chick-N-Joy is a take-out joint that has been frying chicken since 1977. <br/ <br/ Not to be confused with the inferior-tasting chain restaurant with a similar name, Chick-N-Joy’s bold claim of “Love at First Bite” is not falsely advertised. Try one of their $6 lunch specials or try and take down their 4-piece Dinner $8.65) that’s filled to the brim with chook, fresh-cut fries, a side-dish of your choosing and a dinner roll. Somehow I managed to finish it in one sitting.The portions are huge; the prices are good; the food is tasty. T<br/ <br/ here isn’t really much more that can be or needs to be) said… other than N-Joy.
