Subway - West Thumb

You need to check this out. Any of their chopped salads would be great, but the steak cheese is fabulous. I usually visit this particular Subway although there are others in Rome. I've been there so many times, they usually remember what I'm having. And they give me a bowl full of salad. Yum! Yum!

If you are having to read a review to decide whether to eat at a Subway or not then you probably should just stay home with your cats and watch wheel of fortune. Here's a brief description. They make you an ok sandwich then ask you to pay for it.

When you're rating a place as ubiquitous as Subway, you really need to focus on what sets *that* particular place apart from the bazillions of other Subways in the world. Here not much. All in all, though, it's a clean place with good service, and I'm there whenever I need a quick meal that isn't going to swallow a day's worth of calories. Positives: The dining room is always clean, the employees are very friendly, there's a convenient drive through window, and the location participates in the daily value meal program (I understand that not all Subways do. Negatives: The sandwiches/salads can be inconsistent in terms of the amounts of veggies/condiments, so I'm not sure the nutrition facts on the website always apply. Also, I've bought the same salad at this location about five times, and never know which of three prices I'll be charged for it they're always close, but I think everyone rings it up differently, which is a little odd.
