The Valiant Soldier - West Somerset

We visited the valiant more festive and stayed away for a night during the walk of the coleridge. we have a few times ahead, but not for many years. the evening meal was very nice and the breakfast was sufficient and well cooked. our little dog was greeted and could stay in our room. the room was ok, although the bed was very small. hot water. we would stay here again if we returned to this neck of the forest.

A super pub! friendly staff and exceptional service. eating was quick to reach and very tasty. the heavenly and white chocolate routine was amazing. many thanks, we will definitely be back

Nice eating pub when a little out of the way. Maybe had a 5* if not served for the wedge of ananas (skin and all) with gammon. otherwise excellent quality and service

The service was warm and welcoming on a cold Sunday evening. we booked a table while we were on holiday and were not disappointed. both meal times were charged to the teller and the puddings were delicious! more attentive waiter and very good prices. very good.

Sunday lunch set menu but gorgeous food. Plenty of meat and vegetables. Fixed 2 course menu. Desserts were amazing. Highly recommended.
