I went to this restaurant yesterday. It was dark and depressing, and the staff were incredibly rude. They couldn't even explain to us politely that they couldn't seat a group of 8, even though there were empty tables available. I have never been spoken to so disrespectfully before. The man even turned his back on us and basically told us to leave. I also noticed that there were signs everywhere telling customers what they couldn't do. After reading other reviews, it seems like many people have had similar experiences with the rude staff. I will definitely not be returning, and I would recommend against eating there. We ended up finding a beautiful and welcoming restaurant just down the road, where they happily seated all 8 of us and appreciated our business.

Sat down on the empty benches outside on a dismal day to quickly eat our takeaway sandwiches whilst feeding our 7 month old son. Only to be told in a very rude manner and way that the benches aren 't for take away customers and that take away food is to be taken away, the clues in the name . The tall black haired youth with glasses then walked back inside with an assured finality. We do understand these rules and would completely understand, however the restaurant wasn 't overflowing or had guests queuing out the door (perhaps they knew something already, and so we saw no harm in sitting down and eating outside. We ordered baguettes by the way. Not some 3 course meal. Many takeaways have benches outside for people to sit on whilst they eat, this is the first establishment I 've seen other wise. Perhaps a helpful sign would deter future customers from inadvertently creating such a confrontation. In summary : Hungry parents. Hungry baby. Purchased food. Got told to leave. Wrote review. Hopefully this helps your service to paying customers in future.
