The delmonico was extremely undercooked and grisly. I wasn't able to eat 2/3 of the steak as it was fatty. What I could eat was very tough. For a restaurant that considers itself a chop house, this is inexcusable. The ambiance and service was pretty good but the lighting was way too bright. When informed of the problems with the meal, the maitre d' was very sorry and asked us to give them another chance. I'm suspect the meal would be comped. I appreciated that, but don't think that I'll be back there.
Dinning room could use an update but other than that food was very good desert was outstanding could not get a drink at bar stood there and was ignored so walked away.
It has been awhile since our last visit, so long ago it had a different name. But we live in Florida now so that 's understandable. Drinks at the bar were surprisingly very reasonable for a steak house (happy hour) and well made. At the table, our waiter Tom was attentive but not over bearing. He knows his business there when you need him but not hanging over your shoulder. There is space between the tables so you do not have to squeeze around chairs if you wish to get up. Very comfortable and your conversation is essentially private. We started with lobster dumplings which were very good. For our entrees, we both had filet mignon and it was prepared exactly as ordered, and tasty and tender. As the saying goes, we were happy campers. An added goody, dinner music provided by a gentleman playing guitar and singing in a soft voice. Another feature that was not overbearing. This was our weekly date night and it was all a date night should be.
Just always love the quality of the food and the service. Pricey, but you get what you pay for!
